You're doing a great job! Keep it up!!! Several days ago I saw a mention
in one of your pages from an EMS person regarding lack of EMS equipment, and moving EMS equipment from Kingwood to situations as far away as Hobby. However, I can't locate the article. Do you happen to remember in which issue that appeared?

Also, I've been investigating the sidewalk contracts for Kingwood. Do you
happen to know if the contractor is the same one that is doing the work and
charging for services not rendered? The deal in Kingwood appears to have
some improprieties. Have been trying to obtain the bid and contract
documents but have not had much success.

Darlin......ATSER is the contractor who is SUPPOSED to inspect all of our sidewalk projects...of course he doesn't...please give me a call....i'd like some photos of that project...

Today, I was in *&^%$# court "negotiating" with )(*&^% %$#@#$ over punishment possibilities for a 17 year old and while I could hear Rosenthal talking, I didn't actually hear what he had to say since as you know )(*&^% is or can be loud when talking even unintentionally so the voice carries. My client's mother and aunt heard in addition to me and )(*&^%, Chuckles and the Aunt is so livid she wants to file a complaint and make a stink (Mom doesn't want to hurt son's case ). Basically, Chuckles was talking to the male DA in there about how there was way too many women lawyers, women judges, women DA's and how criminal law and women didn't mix and how law is not as fun since there is more women involved. Chuckles also said he was going to make sure there were more male chiefs and also was whining about how unprofessional women have made the legal profession and also whined about how there were too many women instructors at his last cle. They (the mother and the aunt) said the male DA told him that maybe he shouldn't be saying this in the courtroom and Chuckles said why, these people don't vote. I wish I had heard him myself. I heard the man talk but I was involved with ()*&^% so I wasn't paying attention. The Aunt and the mother of the client recognized Chuckles from his campaign on TV when he was wearing the police vest. The Aunt is way pissed and wants to make a stink.

WELL, MAYBE PRINTING THIS DOCUMENT WILL DO JUST THAT...I AM A WOMAN, AND A VOTER........ANYONE MALE OR FEMALE SHOULD BE CONCERNED ABOUT WHO WILL BE OUR REPRESENTATIVE. (I CAN'T WAIT TO SEE HOW "CHUCKLES" RETALIATES AGAINST HOUSNITCH EITHER!!!!!)

Don't believe for one minute that Lester Tyra resigned for "health reasons."

Don Hollingsworth called him in and told him that the Senior Staff had unanimously voted him out. Said that he was a "bad manager.".

So, Lester negotiated an administrative leave till 01/01/01 and then he'll go back as a District Chief and have fun again.

After he left City Hall the Mayor and Hollingsworth went to the HFD Command Center to meet with the Command Staff to tell them about poor Lester's health and that everything was "hunky dory." One Assiatant Chief got so pissed he resigned on the spot. They were lied to saying that LPB had met with LT which was absolute bullshit. Only Hollingsworth.

What comes next?

SEEMS AS THOUGH HOLLINGSWORTH & CAROL ALVARADO HAVE BEEN RUNNING THE CITY OF LATE, WELL, IF THE RUMORS ARE TRUE & THEY ARE SHARING A RESIDENCE AT THE RICE LOFTS...THEY HAVE PLENTY OF TIME TO WORK OUT WHO GETS WHAT...AND WHEN...AND HOW TO KEEP IT FROM THE MAYOR.....(BUT HOUSNITCH HAS A REAL BIG SURPRISE FOR THEM IF THEY THINK FRED MARTINEZ IS GETTING THAT OWNER'S REP. incredibly naive.. Traffic Mgmt. is staffed by high paid stooges
BURNING up the METRO money- it is Metro Inter Local Fund 224..for
every 2 employees there is 1 mgr. Traffic Mgmt has 2 Sr AD's,
3 DAD's 3 Division Mgrs. and over 75 electricians at over $31,000/yr
each. It has 25 Traffic Signal Suprevisors. All for a group of
about 235 people !!

THE MEN & WOMEN WE HAVE BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH IN THE OIG ARE VERY HONEST HARDWORKING MEN & WOMEN....DIDN'T SAY WE TRUSTED THE OIG......JUST THE PEOPLE WE ARE PRIVILEGED TO WORK WITH.

... it was greatly because of what you did by putting Garza's memo on the site. Between what you and (*&^%$ did you have kept a great injustice from having occurred.

Your credibility has greatly increased in the community and even Chief Bradford has new respect for what you do.

I heard yesterday afternoon that all central reassignments and transfers were to be held up until after IAD had completed their investigation. The Chief realized that there was far too much smoke for there not to be a raging forest fire.

Let's see where this lands.

WHO gave you the information? All's I want is all of the facts to come out - no embellishment or suppositions - just the basic facts that there is blatant discrimination by captain ready. first the gays, then the blacks, Mexicans and finally the Jews.
Sergeant David crane is known to be extremely homophobic and has had problems in previous assignments "chasing pu**y."

Let me know what you find out.

Even if we knew.....WE NEVER TELL, who gives us information....and as to that last statement about Capt.. Crane...we have been sent mail that's leads us to believe he has a civil suit pending for sexual harassment...and that's why he was transferred from Shepherd.

This is my first day reading your website and I highly enjoy it. I do have to
tell you one thing on Chief Clarence Bradford. Just because he says one
thing, doesn't mean he is going to do it. I doubt that investigation will be
done with in the month like he ordered (Sgt. Garza Complaint). He says one
thing and means another. You might want to keep riding his ass to find out,
because if we got everything he promised us, we would have no bitches or

I can say this with complete confidence. I know the Officer in Sgt.
Garza's letter. He is a 6' 2" 215# athlete. This officer is in no way a
cowering, crying, gay sissy as Sgt. Crain had attempted to portray him to
Sgt. Garza. I have seen this officer take down many a violent suspect
without the slightest hesitation. This officer was definitely the backbone of
central Patrol while a patrolman and, I never saw him cry even after he
himself had his butt kicked by a suspect or two. He never backed away from anyone or any dangerous task. Put that officer in a boxing ring with Crain and my money wouldn't be on Crain.

Do you have any idea how the connection with Key Maps Inc. and the City of Houston works? When I first came to the COH I had a Rand McNally map that was basically the same format but the page numbers and such did not match to Key Map Inc.'s map. I thought the Rand McNally map was better but since the City uses Key Map Inc.'s numbering system on their plans, RCA's and practically anything else that references a location I switched over to the Key Map. If Key Map is a private business this doesn't seem proper.

SEEMS TO BE ANOTHER PROBLEM UNDER ORADAT (ONE OF MANY) THAT WE'VE JUST SENT A COMPLAINT TO THE STATE BOARD OF ENGINEERS ON. Over the past 10 years, the so called "CHIEF ENGINEER", Mr. Van R. Speight, has managed the water technical services in the Utility Maitenance Branch of the Public Utilities Division.....only problem is....Mr. Van R. Speight (nicknamed "MR. I DON"T KNOW") isn't a registered Professional Engineer. This not only violates the City's own policy concerning the requirements for this position..... but it also violates the STATE BOARD OF PROFESSIONAL ENGINEER'S ethics clause....big fines & penalties. HOW DO YA'LL GET AWAY WITH THIS STUFF????? HOW THE HELL DO YA'LL SLEEP AT NIGHT??? The reall7y diligent Professional Engineers who have many years of experience have had to constantly suffer because we do it the professional way, and we do it for the taxpaying customers we serve. Massive promotions in CIP, 3 in wastewater operations....NONE under Oradat...yet people who AREN'T engineers get all the breaks...all the chances...all the promotions. Tom Rolen needs to walk this division....PERSONALLY, and allow us to speak without fear of being retaliated against.
