This publication is dedicated to & maintained by those of us who really care about this city. We are many --- (and growing stronger with more people joining our ranks everyday). We are the nameless, faceless city, county, state & federal workers who are sick of the good ole boy system here in Houston, Texas --We were born on 7-30-1999. We are --- married & single-male & female, maintenance worker to Deputy Directors. We are the faceless civil servants who year after year do our job. We are the one's who see the hard earned tax $$s of the citizens in this area used & abused and given away to enrich a few greedy people with each new administration. Our hobbies include: Watching our backs---as we try to bring you the truth of what is happening in Houston, and getting the REAL information out to the public. This publication is our collective voice.

Do any of you ever read those little HEADERS up there...or do you just pass over them?? HOUSNITCH was 6 months old yesterday ...February 2. Hit counter says we have had 537,374 persons visit our site....granted many are repeats, but that's not bad for the first 6 months work. The truth of the matter is, we believe in a better way of doing things. We are dedicated to that end. The outpouring of information is becoming staggering. We will be taking a week off just to step back & gain some new perspectives. Unfortunately, BAD government is VERY WELL funded, while the pursuit of GOOD government isn't. Exposure of the BAD GUYS is costly ... Documents cost money. Gas to travel to meet with Snitches cost money. Parking to address Council costs money. This website costs us $50.00 a month. Paper, fax machine, copies, scanner, PO BOX, phone lines, film & film development all these things cost money and the information we are getting now demands attention, and investigation, and some monetary input & outlay. You have been most kind to help us with our fundraising for our incorporation papers which we do appreciate very much, and we have almost met our goal, but we need much more in order to expose these people for what they are. We have no plans for abandoning this vehicle, we intend to continue to have an impact on our city government. We are empowered, and empowering you the reader, the little guy like us to say NO! no more. But we have to step back some this next week. IF each and everyone of one of you out there, send us just $10 we can beat them at their own much better funded game ... please take the time & do so now. The stories that are coming in are well worth the effort. IF you believe in what we are doing, please , send us a donation. Nothing is too small. $1 dollar will buy 10 pages worth of a document from the City, $5 will buy a ream of paper for printing out our website for those occasions we have speaking engagements, $30 will buy a tank of gas for traveling to and from council meetings and meetings with snitches ...
