This is an election year. Just how important is
ONE VOTE? YOUR VOTE? The following facts may astound you, however they are true:
In 1645, ONE VOTE gave Oliver Cromwell control of England.
In 1649, ONE VOTE caused Charles I of England to be executed.
In 1776, ONE VOTE gave America the English language language instead of German.
In 1839, ONE VOTE elected Marcus Merton Governor of the State of Massachusetts.
In 1945, ONE VOTE brought Texas into the Union.
In 1868, ONE VOTE saved President Andrew Johnson from Impeachment.
In 1875, ONE VOTE changed France from a Monarchy to a Republic.
In 1876, ONE VOTE gave Rutherford B. Hayes the Presidency of the United States.
In 1923, ONE VOTE, gave Adolph Hitler leadership of the Nazi party.
In 1941, ONE VOTE, saved Selective Service (12) weeks before Pearl harbor.
In 1960, Richard Nixon lost the Presidential election and John F. Kennedy won it by less than ONE VOTE per
precinct in the United States

We got to hand it to this administration .... the MORE they try to clamp down on our Snitch network ... the better the information gets .... Tell us how ya'll like this book keeping coming out of Central/Burns Management, & New South ... (remember?... Brown's attempt to privatize & save the City money, while giving these contracts to his buddies ) : The following document is a copy of the daily summary of deposits made by the cashiers to the new management company....
Because it is so hard to read...we will tell you, the
City's TOTAL NET for CASH on 2/28/00 was $12,844.32 .. That's after NEW SOUTH
takes out their $4,350.68. Snitches say The New Contractor doesn't make credit
card deposits ... (must be too hard for them) ... they require someone to
actually enter each credit card on a separate deposit slip, and it seems that
their people don't have the skills for this ... (that's $11,486.00 sitting in a
bag somewhere rather than in the City's account, and that $11,000 + is just for
one day .....) anyway, back to the deposits made for 2/28/00.
Of those $12,844.32...the new management company only deposited $8,371.52 .... HEY! WHERE'S THE REST OF OUR MONEY?????? Even IF you don't deposit the credit cards ... YOU still owe us $4,472.80. And just so they don't tell you that this deposit slip isn't for that day's receipts ... take a real good look at the BACKGROUND on that second document. They always make a copy of the summary document ... rather light & copy the deposit slip to it so they know which summary each deposit slip goes to. ( the summary would be the first document up there).
HEY VACAR, MAYOR!...CLAMP DOWN SOME MORE!!! WE LOVE IT!
Snitches go on to say that on Monday, March 06, 2000, finance tried to close out the month of February...and for some reason they believe that there was a $6 million dollar discrepancy ... HOUSNITCH THINKS IT'S TIME FOR SYLVIA GARCIA TO MOVE IN.
Oh yeah .... the poor city auditor who found all this mess & made a report on it? ... Well, WE BELIEVE actions taken were an attempt to keep this garbage quiet. What actions? ... Central & the big dogs in Aviation Finance came in & took all the books to one room ... and the poor auditor ... well we hear he's been sent to work on inventory now.
WOULD SOMEBODY SOMEWHERE SAY SOMETHING TO THIS MAYOR??????
Another tidbit to come to us this week out of Aviation finance....wanna see what PGAL gets the Taxpayers to pay for? (Ya'll remember PGAL .... Pierce, Goodwin, Alexander & Linville. LARGEST $$$$ CONTRACTOR IN THE CITY ... Oh yeah ... Mr. Jack Linville is Mayor Brown's on again off again campaign treasurer ... and also the Mayor's daughter works for them, and they threw the Mayor a most productive fundraiser...)
Seems that PGAL (who has a HUGE airport contract) makes
frequent trips to Dallas. But they don't use Southwest at $130.00 a round trip
they use Continental at $255 ... and they don't make their own reservations ...
they pay an additional $9 to &10 (per person per reservation) to a travel
service ... and LOOK real close at the following document, lower left ... WE
even paid for $307 clothing purchase at Norton Ditto for some one at PGAL ....
WHY?
SOME of us having trouble keeping our own kids in clothes & shoes ..... why do we have to keep these HIGHLY paid people in clothes too?
That ain't all ... we approved payment for a ONE night Hotel
room for $174.72, another for $109.30 .... GOLF to the tune of $283.62 .... and
a one day car rental of $135.43 .... this is just a small portion of the
HUNDREDS of invoices that PGAL turns in (see next document) .... we're sure
there are many other "questionable" charges that we pay for them ...
oh yeah ... why is there a clause that allows them to add a 10% Contractor's
"MARK UP" on all invoices?
Thank you to all those snitches in Aviation & Finance and at BOTH the Airports that are fed up with seeing the City get ripped off ... WATCH OUT HILDA GARZA SCOTT ... we KNOW there is a recording ... and we're gonna get a copy of it ... YOU WILL GO ... YOU ARE AN EMBARRASSMENT TO NOT ONLY WOMEN & HISPANICS EVERYWHERE ... but to your profession too & believe us ... there are good engineers who don't even do business with the city out there spilling their guts to us about you! What were you thinking during those past elections for that Engineering Group you belong to? So nice to see that those intimidation tactics of yours didn't work.
